Yes, I have succumbed to the easy pressure of accepting free books in the past. And it&#8217;s not like I no longer do it.  It&#8217;s just that nobody is offering them since the economy went into the shitter.  Well, almost nobody.  I think there is one in the mail, or something. But I have in the past accepted books from Pyr, Laughing (Bouncing?) Kangaroo, BPS, and several others that I don&#8217;t recall.  If I get books in the future that find their way to the review blog I&#8217;ll update this page with the titles, because for some unknown, bullshit reason the FTC wants me to do that.  <\/p>\n<p>But if I do, you can bet your bottom dollar that I won&#8217;t compromise an unfavorable review in order to maintain access to authors for interviews and blog content and\/or a steady stream of free books. Seems to me that is what some book review blogs are all about. That, I consider to be shameful and immoral, and I won&#8217;t do it.
